allegraconbrioI don't even know why the original is so much a loved thing. Steve McGarret and Book him Danno catch phrase was part of my kidhood. Hell, my mom was watching re-runs somewhere for LOTS of years. I grew up watching Ironsides and Hawaii 5-O that one show with Peter Falk and the McCaw, what was that?. It just was. I watched cop shows as a kid and as a young adult and I think I really am going to love the new show.
I am gleeful for the re-boot. Okay, I have tv crushes on both Alex O'Loughlin and Daniel Dae Kim. And apparently there is some James Marsters in there somewhere in the pilot maybe?
But I LOVE my antagonistic buddy cop tv shows. That would be my adoration of Pembleton and Bayliss and Fraser and Ray V and Fraser and Ray K. also the trailer looks like fun.
